We finally made it outside the other day to enjoy some of the spring-like weather, and I had to get my camera out too to blow some of the dust off! :~) There are no smiles in these pictures, forgive me, but they show so much more than smiles and poses.

Good Monday Morning!
I have made it through the valley of the shadow of what I was sure was going to be my death last week! It was touch and go for a couple of days, but I am much better, as are both Hayden and Hailey. Thank you for your prayers for a speedy recovery!
So.. what's new you ask? Music! What do you think of it? It is my favorite song and I have been dying to share it with you all! This song just gets me. Just the other night I was on my way home listening to it in the car with my eyes closed, mouth open singing his praises! One hand on the wheel and one hand in the air... yeah, watch out when I get to having church in the car!! :~) I think it is so beautifully sung, and it gives me such hope as I face my day to day life- knowing that one day soon my savior will come, and will save his children from this sick and dying earth!
Just picture it with me for a minute... every knee falls down before him, every hand raised, every head bows... and seeing his face... oh, to finally see the face of my Father; my redeemer, my comforter, my provider, my healer, my teacher, my precious Jesus coming to take us home. It brings tears to my eyes, and a yearning in my heart to think of all pain, death, illness, and all evil to be overcome and defeated.
But it is so easy in my day to day life to forget. I get bogged down with the struggles of the day, and let it dim my light and put a question mark where an exlamation point used to be. I need reminding...There is a happy ending!! There is hope! There is a heaven, he is preparing it for us now!! No matter what situation I face today, tomorrow or next week, I am reminded that he is in control, and as I seek to live my life for him and fulfill his will for me, he guides my steps, protects me and covers me with his grace and mercy through it all. When I am weary, he carries me, when I am broken, he holds the peices of my heart together, when I am scared he gives me comfort as he whispers... "Be still my child... and know that I am God." and there are times that is all I need to know, when I don't understand anything else in my life, in my world, just know he is God. And trust him wholly. As I study his word and learn more of who he is, I learn more of how undeserving I am to be called his. How unworthy I am of his love, his forgiveness. Yet I have it. How sweet is Grace on the lips of a sinner...
So, if on this Monday morning, if you are weary, if you are down trodden and feeling defeated, I just want to share with you a little bit of my hope, (in Him), a little bit of my joy (from Him), and cover you in Christ's love, through me, but from Him! Start your day out with a 'Monday Morning Mercy Meeting' which may consist of you hitting your knees and crying out for mercy... or let it sit til the end of the week and maybe you'll be ready for a 'Finally Friday, and needing the Father' kind of meeting... just meet him. Wherever you are, he will meet you there. He loves you there. Just as you are as you sit there. Just as I am as I sit here.... what love, what awsome, unconditional love that forgives, restores, heals, empowers, redeems...

Ok, so now I have it. I am SICK, sick, sick.... You know how you say you wish you could take the sickness away from your children when they are ill? Well, I said that, and I got it! Here I am with a fever, body aches, headache (5days now), chest and nasal conjestion, and cough. So, please pray for our household to get well and rid of all this yuck!.. cause Momma aint got nobody to take care of her... and that's not a good thing!

It has been quite a week around here. I say that, but then you'll start to think there has been all kind of goings on and things happening you will be disappointed to know that all that happended was sickness. But there was lots of it! Hayden got sick a week ago today with a fever.. and I won't go into the long, drawn out details, I will just say that he ended up getting Roseola (viral rash) and RSV at the same time. There were quite a few days this last week that he didn't really even move much, and when he did he whimpered. It was soooo sad, and nothing makes a momma feel more helpless than when their babies are sick. And, of course, being as Hayden is such a good brother, he shared with his big sister! So, Hailey is sick now too. (I am monitoring her coughing from her bedroom as I type) They have both been hacking their little heads off these last two days, and I have been chasing them around the house with a kleenex box, trying to keep the neon green snot sludge from dripping into their mouths or onto the carpet!! I know its a tough job, but someone's gotta do it... and it's usually a momma!
Am sharing with you all our new family picture. It was the picture we had taken at church for the Church directory, and I must say that I am impressed, it turned out pretty nice. It's been a while since Lifetouch has taken any of my pictures!!
So, did you notice the new look? What do you think? I had such a hard time choosing, that I just might have to put up another one this week, just for fun... dress up for blogs.. how pathetic am I?!!!
On the work side of things I had three sessions this week/weekend that I had to cancel due to the sickness, so hopefully I can get those rescheduled soon, and I will be sharing some sneak peeks with you. One session is Brylee and Mae those sweet little baby twin girls that were born this last month... so stay tuned for those shots, I just can't wait!!!
Well, that's enough rambling for now. I just wanted to give an update, and let you all know that I am still here... have just been a bad blogger and going to bed at a reasonable hour instead of staying up all night working (playing) and blogging.
Will also be announcing some new things offered from Wright Photography... so stay tuned for that info also!

This is my Grandma and Grandpa, Bonnie and Gene Despaw and they just celebrated 25 years of marriage. This is a portrait of them that I took of them as a gift for their anniversary. They are two of the sweetest, downhome folks you ever met. They are faithful to their family, faithful to each other, and faithful to their Lord Jesus. I love them dearly, and am blessed to be part of their family.

Little Hayden is almost a year old.... :~( And what I have to say about that is... I demand a recount!! I want to talk to somebody in management because I am just sure that there has been a miscalculation somewhere... it's just not possible!! Seriously... my heart is heavy that my baby boy is just about not a baby anymore..

This is the Savage family- soon to grow by two little baby girls that are due to be born in about 11 days. I was lucky enough to get to take their picture today.
